Acknowledgements

I first studied creativity with the Open University, and the core material in these pages reflects that compiled and written for that course by John Martin and Jane Henry.  I'd like to acknowledge my debt to them, and to the creativity courses they created and run for the OU Business School - and especially the many exceptional people I have met on these courses.  Those involved have some exceptional insights and understanding of the creative process.   I have learned more from these courses and from fellow tutors and course directors than from any other training I've participated in.

I have tried to properly acknowledge the source of information provided on this site. However, creative techniques tend to evolve over time and it is not always easy to identify the originator of a particular idea or model and give due credit.  So, if there is anything here that should be properly credited and acknowledged as someone's work, but isn't, again let me know - I would be grateful to be able to correct this.  If I've infringed copyright, please let me know - I will gladly remove anything that infringes anyone's rights.

Similarly, I'd welcome any comments or suggestions on how to improve the site:

Future Developments

Some things I mean to get around to doing when I find time:

- Update the CPS pages to reflect the three-step model B822 has moved to in recent presentations

- Add a page on Sun Tzu and the Art of War (who will win, shih and nodes &c)

- More on Metaphors and the embodied mind

- Link the value of excursions to main material

- Tidy up the facilitation page and separate from 'manage the process' perhaps as a page group

- Add some more on 'reflective practice'

and

- Improve the 'how this all connects' aspects of the site

If you can think of other things I might do, or can suggest which of the above might be most use to others, please let me know through the link below.

Thanks.
